Doomsday for PADDLE RICKSHAWS? What is your thoughts on this?
A new order by Siliguri Metropolitan Police states that “from 17th March 2022, to ease the traffic flow in the city, paddle rickshaws shall not be allowed on the arterial roads of Hill Cart Road (from Venus More), Sevoke Road, Burdwan Road, SF Road, Bidhan Road besides Asian Highway, National Highway which have been restricted by various court orders previously.
All Traffic Guards have been instructed to strictly enforce it. More restrictions to follow to ease the traffic flow in Siliguri City.”
